Process Video - Using My Rub-Ons

Today I have a process video to share with you where I used almost an entire package of rub-ons.  I have never done that before and never really want to use up an entire package of something on one layout, but I find with run-ons I sometimes have a hard time using them. I use one here or there and then the package sits around.  So today, I did something different.

Here is a picture of the overall layout.  This time since I only wanted to scrap 1 photo and use the rub-ons, I decided on a 8.5 x 11 layout.

I first made the background by adding some gesso.  Then after it dried I added my run-ons and on top of that, watercolor.  I didn't like how dark the watercolor went on, so I wiped some away using a baby wipe.

Once everything was dry, I added on my photo, paper layers, die-cuts, and minimal embellishments.

I also got to use of the wood veneer flowers that came in a Scraptastic Kit (finally, I have been trying for a long time to get that on a page).

I topped it off with some homemade enamel dots and that is about it.

Here is the process video where you can see me create the background and put this page together.

Thanks for stopping by!
