Ready to Burn Some Rubber

Here is a layout of my daughter from last winter.  My husband just bought rims and tires for his Mitsubishi and she looked so small next to them.

This layout was made using mostly items from the September Studio Calico kit.  Here is a picture of the entire layout.

The title was made using a combo of letters.  Some Thickers from the kit, October Afternoon - Daily Flash (Snap Peas), and Jillibean Soup - Alaphabeans (Grilled Gray).

In the upper left hand corner I clustered my embellishments.  The heart is from the Ali Edwards set - Incredible, the "Hello There" Flag is from Basic Grey, the camera stamp is I think Heidi Swapp, and the puffy stickers are from an Amy Tangerine collection.  The rest of the bits were items I found in my stash.

The bottom right and left clusters are made up of My Minds Eye Chipboard from the Collectables collection, a wood veneer paperclip from an old Studio Calico Project Life kit, and items from my stash and collections mentioned above for my other cluster.

Thanks for stopping by.  Until next time, Happy Scrappin'

  1. such a cute layout and love how she is playing on the very large tires...imagine when she is older how small those tires will look. Very sweet memory

  2. Love this layout. I really like the scallop border on the bottom. What did you use to make it?
    Love your layering!

    1. Thanks. The boarder was made with a Fiskars punch that I have had for quite some time. I like the large scallops. It also puts a bit of an embossed edge when you punch as well.
