Ringing in the New Year

Last weekend I put together this page of my daughter back in 2011/2012.  We were at my parents celebrating New Years Eve (which has been a tradition since a bit before my daughter was born).  Before it was time for her to go to bed, we let her play with the noise makers.  She had such a great time (the noisier the better you know).

For this layout I am still using papers from the Studio Calico - September Kit, but I did pull quite a bit from my stash as well.

This is not one of my favorite layouts, but I was glad to use up some of my stash.  I am not quite sure what it is about it that I don't like.   Something just seems off.  Oh well, you can't love them all.

Here are a few close ups.

I used star sequins that I got from Michaels, the flair is a Two Peas in a Bucket exclusive (so sad they are going out of business...sniff, sniff).  The star die cut and "OH HAPPY DAY" transparancy I believe is from Basic Gray, and the "HI" is a Studio Calico printable.  You can't barely see it in this picture, but the pink speech bubble is from Studio Calico (I believe a school die cut pack) and the Too Cool is from my stash.  I also used a Glitz Design roller plus stamp for the background (ink is Staz On - Cotton White).

Thickers are called Bliss.

Transparencies are from Basic Gray and the "It's All Good" is a Studio Calico printable.

Thanks for stopping by again.  Have a wonderful rest of the weekend.
