Botanical Garden

I love this page kit that I got from Legacy Paper Arts.  Melissa puts together some AMAZING kits.  I highly recommend signing up for her monthly club.

These flowers took forever (just ask the girls that I cropped with).  There was a lot of inking, spritzing, crinkling, repeat.  I love how they turned out though.  Very textural.

I inked around all of the butterflies with various cat eye chalk inks to give them a bit more dimention, cupped the paper a bit, and popped them up on pop dots.  I also added some antenna, made with white wire (they looked a little naked with out them :) ).

Head on over to Sarah Hamer's blog and Link Up Tuesday to see what everyone else is up to.

  2. Wow! So much detail- and so gorgeous! Love those flowers, so I am glad you took the time on them! I love how you cupped the butterfly wings, it does make it look real & the antennae are perfect!
