I love this page kit that I got from Legacy Paper Arts. Melissa puts together some AMAZING kits. I highly recommend signing up for her monthly club.
These flowers took forever (just ask the girls that I cropped with). There was a lot of inking, spritzing, crinkling, repeat. I love how they turned out though. Very textural.
I inked around all of the butterflies with various cat eye chalk inks to give them a bit more dimention, cupped the paper a bit, and popped them up on pop dots. I also added some antenna, made with white wire (they looked a little naked with out them :) ).
Head on over to Sarah Hamer's blog and Link Up Tuesday to see what everyone else is up to.

Love the flowers on this layout! So cool! Love the color combination with the blue and orange.
ReplyDeleteWow! So much detail- and so gorgeous! Love those flowers, so I am glad you took the time on them! I love how you cupped the butterfly wings, it does make it look real & the antennae are perfect!
