Sparkle

I have been watching a lot of YouTube lately and have been inspired (specifically by yoliebean - she has some nice videos and some good tips) to put together a shape card.  So here is what I came up with.  For the clouds I cut them using the Paper Dolls for Everyday Cricut cartridge and the sun was cut using the Doodle Charms cartridge.

For the background cloud I used a scrap of white card stock with flecks of color in it and embossed it with the Cuttlebug D'vine Swirl folder.  For the sun I used at Stampin' Up! embossing folder (from Sale-A-Bration mini catalog) very similar to the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder.

I inked the edges of the sun and clouds with Catseye Chalk Ink to give it some extra depth.  Then on the swirls and dots I added some Stickles.

Topped off with a red button from Stampin' Up!,  yellow/white twine from Doodlebug, and the "sparkle" stamp from Stampin' Up! stamp set Warm Words (retired).

Hope you enjoy and don't forget to check out the Link Up Party at Sarah Hamer's Pink Cricut blog.
