I posted a little about this on my Facebook page earlier this week. I have a DREAM for my husband to be a stay-at-home daddy for our daughter. He has worked so hard all of his life and he deserves a change of pace and my daughter deserves a daddy. My husband has not been in the best of health and the laborious work he has to do on a day-to-day basis is just making life hard.
He was laid off from work for about a month and a half recently and I realized just how wonderful it was to have him be home with our daughter. He does many of the chores, takes care of the kiddo, runs errands, and so much more. He is such a great daddy.
Well, the way my DREAM can (and will) become a reality is to book an average of 2 lia sophia jewelry parties a week. By doing this, I can bring in enough income to pay the bills my full-time job itself doesn't cover and have a bit of fun money to do family things. buy scrapbook supplies (a definite must), and allow my hubby to participate in his hobbies.
If you are interested in booking a lia sophia party, let me know. If you don't live in my area and would like to book a catalog party that would be wonderful too. I am also having charity parties for Dress for Success if you are not really interested in jewelry but would like to give to a great cause.
Well that is my DREAM. What is yours? I would love to hear from you. Maybe we can even help each other out. Who knows.
Happy Craftin' and Dreaming.

Bark in the Park - Doggie Shape Cards
Here are two of the doggie cards I made using the Create a Critter cartridge from Cricut. Are they just too cute?!?! They were so easy to put together. I added a little Tim Holtz Antique Linen inking around the edges and Pine Needles to the collars. I finished the color off with some pink bling squares I had in my stash.
Everyone that sponsored my family for Bark in the Park is getting one of these. I am at about 42% of my goal right now. If you are interested in donating to this cause, please visit my page by clicking here.
Don't forget to check out Sarah Hamer Designs at the Pink Cricut Blog. Here link up party is alway fun. Love seeing what other people are creating.
Thanks and until next time.

Sparkle
I have been watching a lot of YouTube lately and have been inspired (specifically by yoliebean - she has some nice videos and some good tips) to put together a shape card. So here is what I came up with. For the clouds I cut them using the Paper Dolls for Everyday Cricut cartridge and the sun was cut using the Doodle Charms cartridge.
For the background cloud I used a scrap of white card stock with flecks of color in it and embossed it with the Cuttlebug D'vine Swirl folder. For the sun I used at Stampin' Up! embossing folder (from Sale-A-Bration mini catalog) very similar to the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder.
I inked the edges of the sun and clouds with Catseye Chalk Ink to give it some extra depth. Then on the swirls and dots I added some Stickles.
Topped off with a red button from Stampin' Up!, yellow/white twine from Doodlebug, and the "sparkle" stamp from Stampin' Up! stamp set Warm Words (retired).
Hope you enjoy and don't forget to check out the Link Up Party at Sarah Hamer's Pink Cricut blog.

Perfect Fit
Here is a kit from Just Kitting. Lynn specializes in handmade paper piecing layouts. Lynn offers classes as well as kits on-line. Check out her store by clicking here.
I had went to one of Lynn's classes a few years ago, but didn't really have pictures at the time that would fit. I was so excited when going though my kit stash to find this one. I was a "Perfect Fit" (lol). My daughter loves wearing our shoes (what little kid doesn't). I caught a few different days where she was wearing both my shoes and my husbands. My husbands shoes were so heavy she kept falling over when she walked. He had to help her along.
This little birdie is so cute. I love how much dimension she has.
Thanks again for following along. Hope you enjoyed the layout.Make sure you head over to Pink Cricut for Link Up Tuesday.
